YAMASA soy sauce (YAMASA Shoyu) has a delectably rich flavor with a crisp, spicy aroma and brilliant red color. The preferred brand selected by many of Japan's finest restaurants. From lighter, sweeter sauces to dark, rich soy sauces, there is one to compliment any type of dish you can imagine.
This mildly spicy Yakitori no Tare (Barbecue Sauce for Broiled Chicken) with coarse sugar added produces an excellent glaze. The spicy flavor is also well-suited to teriyaki (meat or fish marinated and broiled in a sweetened soy sauce) dishes.
Original Yakitori seasoning sauce for marinating chicken, beef or fish.
CHICKEN: Marinate chicken pieces 30 to 60 minutes. Cook as desired, basting with Yakitori Sauce while cooking.
BEEF: Marinate tender cuts 30 minutes. Less tender cuts, such as chuck or round, 1 to 3 hours.
GROUND BEEF: Add 2 tbsp. Yakitori Sauce to 1 pound meat. Shape into patties; grill or broil to desired degree of doneness.
FISH: Marinate steaks & fillets 30 minutes before cooking.
