1 cup of rice to 4 cups of water. Texture and consistency can be adjusted by increasing water content to make a thinner porridge. Soak for an hour to speed up the cooking process. Rinse off the excess starch before boiling. You may add meat for protein or chickpeas, lentils, carrot and pumpkin. You may also add Nutritional Yeast or Dulse Granules for added flavour and minerals.
