Healthier Oat On-the-go, Soak your Oat!

When you soak oats, it’s almost like you’re cooking them, but the process is much longer and slower, and it’s done without the damaging effects of heat. Soaking helps the starches break down gradually which helps your body utilize the oats’ nutrients much more efficiently. This makes them easier to digest than oats that have been cooked, which is especially helpful for people with gluten sensitivities!

 

Preparation:

  • Add hot water or your favourite beverage (hot) on the oats & cover for 2 minutes. Ready to eat. Topped with sultanas, nuts, fruits and optional a tablespoon flaxseed oil and lecithin powder.
  • Best taken without cooking it, as an ingredient for biscuits, pancakes, or breakfast porridge.
